Director of Finance (f/m/x)

  • Work closely with CEO on shaping the future direction of our business
  • Lead the Finance, BI and Risk teams to ensure both, excellence in day-to-day service delivery and future needs
  • Provide strong, forward-looking analytical leadership
  • Create integrated financial models and derive diverse financial analyses
  • Develop, update and report actionable financials and business KPIs
  • Help managing fundraising process and due diligence tasks
  • Develop and support the re-financing part of our business incl. asset securitization and associated reporting activities
  • Manage strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor ongoing performance against plan
  • Oversee annual audits on time and with minimal or no adjustments
  • Challenge the status quo with ideas to drive internal efficiencies and growth in revenue based upon solid data analysis.
  • Bring creativity and passion to the organization and its services and possess a broad institutional perspective while embracing change and innovation
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Proven and successful track record in complex and dynamic business environments
  • Strong background in Corporate Finance, Transactions Services, Financial Services or Big Four is a plus
  • Academical Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or equivalent
  • Very good financial modelling skills
  • In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
  • Strong analytical skills required; excellent communication skills required
  • Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience required
  • Excellent organizational and written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team environment
  • FinTech/Start-up compatibility –  thinking outside of the box attitude, hands-on mentality, curiosity,
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize large amounts of data in order to identify and present meaningful observations and recommendations
  • Self-directed with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and thrive under pressure
  • Confident use of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent written and oral English skills, German and/or Polish is a plus
  • Experience with lending/financial services industry is a plus
  • Additional certification (CFA or CPA) is a plus
